My favorite thing of summer is the color green. I can hardly wait until the snow melts and the cold brown earth is once again transformed into a beautiful world displaying every shade of green imaginable. I was able to capture this photograph of geese enjoying the cool shade of a weeping willow tree. It was a gorgeous day and the long green branches created a lovely retreat from the hot afternoon sun.
