Kris has been an artist since childhood, studied design, and eventually owned galleries, a stained glass studio, and a bookstore in the midwest.

Next came stay-at-home motherhood, and she eventually discovered the internet. Kris has been selling art online for several years, now.

Recently transplanted from Iowa, Kris is presently living the life of a deliriously happy artist on an island just off the coast of Georgia, 15 minutes from beautiful, historic Savannah. With a studio/sunroom overlooking dawn on the Atlantic Ocean, and a houseful of children and critters, life is good, and inspirations are everywhere. A new gallery is in the works.

Kris's mediums encompass a little bit of everything, and are perhaps influenced by some energetic background music. The painting muse came to her only a few years ago. Self taught, she's received praise from customers worldwide.

With a passionate love for intense color, her glass, assemblages and paintings have been finding their way into loving homes and collections for more years than seems possible.
