Seek First

Matthew 6:32-34

"For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Seek FIRST the kingdom of God… and ALL these things will be added to you!  This is an integral verse to faith.  All too often, we tend to place "other" things in our life above God, and seeking His will for us takes a back seat. 

 Yet, the one way to find that perfect balance, and have all the "other things" work in our life, is to put Him first.  He wants us to have a balanced, full life, with His blessings poured out upon us, but we must make Him first before any of that will happen.  Family, money, career, all these things need to be second to God, and by making them second, we assure they are ours to claim.

This painting is mixed media with the primary media being acrylic paint.  The writing is stamped onto painted tissue paper and the whole painting is coated in a clear, high gloss acrylic gel to seal everything in place, add a professional shine, and level the top surface of the painting.

This painting measures 8x8 inches and is part of my ongoing series, "The Word", using art to bring the Gospel and love of Jesus to you!  It is only with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that I am able to express my art.
