I can't remember a time in my life when I was not creating in one form or another. I believe I have been an artist since the day I was born. In 2007 I decided to take my artwork to a new level and pursue the life of a "serious" artist.
I have always loved abstract expressionism, as it conveys raw emotion and thought. My love of abstract expressionism and experimentation promises to bring an ever changing body of artwork. In just the past three years my artwork and methods for creating has changed dramatically, and I am excited to see what changes the future will bring.
In 2010 I dedicated my life to Jesus. Now, everything I do is influence by my love of God, and painting has become a form of worship, creating out of reverence to the God who created the universe.
Everything I do now is founded by my faith, and creation of art is a personal form of worship. Abstract painting for me has always been about raw emotion. It is the Holy Spirit moving, to express things that can not be expressed with realism.
"In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words" Romans 8:26
I credit all my paintings to the Holy Spirit moving through me and paint brush, helping me to see and express what is in my heart and spirit at the time.
"Art is a collaboration between God and the artist, and the less the artist does the better." Andre Gide
