This original work shows the Jolly Judge pub, Edinburgh. It is situated in James court, just off the Royal Mile and only a few minutes down from the castle. It was painted from sketches and photgraphs taken on a Sunday morning in early October and the ground was covered with leaves blown from the trees in the courtyard.
The painting has been created using artist quality watercolours on 300lb watercolour paper.
It is signed by the artist
It is not mounted or framed.
Please note: Depending on the setting of your monitor, the colours may appear slightly different from those of the original painting.
Also you must appreciate that it is impossible to convey all the subtleties of texture, tone and hue of the original work in a digital photograph.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my work
