'Changes' is a close up portrait of a dark haired mermaid, basking in her underwater lair, as she contemplates her fate in the ever changing oceans of the modern world.
This stunning Gothic fantasy portrait by Jo Hards is painted in acrylics on a 24 x 30cm (9.5 x 12 inch), 3mm (1/8th inch) thick, hardboard panel. The painting is signed and dated by the artist, and finished with a UV resistant, removable, gloss varnish, to give many years of enjoyment and allow for future cleaning. The colours are much richer in the original than they appear on screen. They must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. This picture would make an eye catching focal point in any room. Please note, the watermark does not appear on the original painting.
