Acrylics and watercolor inspired by Tropical themes and colors...  I grew up in South Florida so enjoyed early on the beauty of the Gulf Stream and Ocean with lots of palm trees...and as an adult regular trips to the Caribbean, especially St Martin, have reinforced my excitement with tropical hues.  After college in Pittsburgh I moved around the country so am influenced by the lifestyles of New York as well as Northern California.  I enjoy abstracts, landscapes and painting pets and other animals.  I am learning and exploring new painting techniques every day. So, I try to paint a wide variety of scenes. I believe that when you live with images around your home, that you love, it adds to the quality of your life each and every day.  For me these images are as diverse as a beach scene, yard birds or a simple day lily.
