This photo was taken on our first trip to Ireland, in May of 2000. Driving along country roads, trying to avoid the more "touristy" areas was our agenda --- and in doing so, we found many beautiful areas that we never would have seen if we had been on any type of guided tour. This stone wall-enclosed field with gate and tree is located near the town of Ennistymon, in County Clare, on the west side of Ireland.
