
An assemblage from the Recycled Urban Projects series, this piece was constructed from a discarded sofa leg circa 1950. I live in the city of Denver and once a month they do 'large item pickup' to keep the downtown alleys clean. Quite often, people will drive in from the 'burbs to dump. The garden bed behind my fence seem to grow vintage sofas better than anything. Well when your garden grows furniture, it is inevitable that some of that trash finds a way to bloom again...
