This is "The Lady Mae" -- Bas Relief -- Not a painting -- signed & dated front & back.

She is blonde with blue-green eyes & a reserved smile. A dense hedge of roses is painted in the background.

Media used: Clay sculpted over fine wire armature, fabrics & Liquitex & also Graham acrylic paints.

Entirely sculpted by hand. No molds were used & no molds of the piece were taken at any stage of its creation.

The Lady & her veil are permanently mounted to a custom made canvas board --very strong construction. Archival inside and out sealed front, back & sides with matte & gloss varnishes.
