This is a beautiful study of the female form that focuses on the "internal". By that I mean the figure is in a quiet, contemplative state, we really don't know what or who she is thinking about, if she is happy or sad, content or anxious. It's an open painting- open to interpretation by the viewer. The colors I've used- coppers, reds, blues, and olives-give the piece a rather "moody" feel, but I think what mood she's in is totally up to the observer. A certificate of authenticity will accompany this piece; it is strung and ready to hang.
