Doris H. David, a retired art teacher is a contemporary Connecticut artist who creates in oil, acrylic, watercolor, clay and photography in her Israel Hill Studio. As an eclectic artist who employs many media in the creation of her work, she is not bound to any particular style of painting, preferring instead to sample from the full palette of life.

She recently exhibited in the Easton Arts Council "Art in the House Juried Fine Art Show" and presently has work on display in the Monroe Arts Council Show. Her first solo exhibition entitled "Perceptions" will be held at the Elizabeth Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe, CT from December thru January,.

She is an award winning juried member of EBSQ, a Connecticut "Celebration of Excellence Award" recipient and contributing author to the nationally published "School Arts Magazine".
