Dragonfly Night Light

Art: Dragonfly Night Light by Artist Dianne McGhee
It is thought that the dragonfly only lives 24 hours. I thought that couldn't possibly be true so I looked it up. Well, they live longer than 24 hours but they do only live a few short months. I wonder if they know they are not going to fly around the world for very long. Well, if you love dragonflies, then don't worry, this one will last a lifetime. I've created it out of textured stained glass with iridescent wings that reflect a prism of colors. Playful copper wire is artfully placed and decorative polka dots are scattered throughout. It is 5.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall from the bottom of the night lithg fixture to the tip of the antennae. It has been polished for long life and comes artist signed and dated. If you collect dragonflies, then you'll want to add this to your collection. It looks adorable in a childs room too. Anywhere you place this, it will put a smile on your face. Have a great day.
