This 4 foot wide Impressionist painting is actually 2 stretched canvases, ready to hang. Painted in bold glowing colors, it captures the view from Highway 20 in Northern Illinois.
Artist's statement : Light is magic, and illusive. One has to work fast to capture the scene before it changes. This was my first and only attempt (so far) at a plein air painting. I planned to do this painting for the Plein Air Show, but I could not get to the location on time. But, "better late than never!" This painting is now in a private collection in Arizona.
