This is the treasure chest I finished (late) for Mary Lu. It was for the '07 Ripped Off show. Mary Lu's Treasure Map ring really inspired me to go with a treasure chest filled with her own creations. I went to her site and saw her beautiful jewelry. I couldn't put all of it in there so I picked her pieces that caught my eye. There was a large mood ring that I put as the lock for the chest; a necklace made of keys, one of which is the key to the chest; etc.

Close up image 1 shows a close up of the map and also a ring which would have the map rolled up into a ring. It also shows a lot of the pieces not included in the chest, such as the filigree earrings, some rose earrings, etc. That's the mood ring in the lock area!

The second detail image shows some of the contents inside the chest, while the third shows the shadowed side of the chest. I was pretty happy with the shadows of the necklace in that one!

Mary Lu should be getting it soon - it was mailed. It was much more detail than I ever expected to do so it took much longer than the time allotted.
