Peacock Goddess-Image has been painted to it's completion on arches 140lb. cold pressed watercolor paper, 9"x12" dimension. This particular composition reflects some aspects of the 20th century german artist Gustav Klimt. This can be seen with the attention to dimension in the figures face, and the transition to two-dimensional patterns that emcompass the figure. The patterns that surround continue to reflect Deanna's style of deep detail and color richness. The feeling that I experience with this composition is a sense of belonging and companionship with the splendor of nature.
