Crane, Drawing Study
This is a drawing study after Audobon's magnificent bird paintings and drawings. The paper is tea stained. I spent a good three weeks drawing this lovely crane in pen in ink then went back with soft pastels which is the first time I've ever touched any pen and ink in such a way. I'm learning so much from these birds and loving drawing them.
