I recently found photos of our dairy farm taken before it was sold for a golf course. They bring back so many memories of spending summers riding my bike around the farm with my kitty cat hanging out of the basket—poor thing. I wish now that I could go back and paint everything to capture those memories and share them with my children and friends. This was a very old shed that was behind my grandparents house—I can remember many days my dad and grandfather stood welding farm equipment standing by this shed. Right behind the shed was our garden, many a rotten strawberry was thrown in family strawberry wars—of course, I was usually the one with the most battle wounds.
