Originally created for the Illustration Friday topic �Late�. Alice is caught between dream and reality as she follows a curious white rabbit that is rushing about in a panic over his tardiness to some mysterious errand. This is of course inspired by the Alice in Wonderland / Through the Looking Glass books by Lewis Carroll. It was created with global atmospheric watercolor washes first, and then more detailed glazes from light to dark. The interesting bloom texture was made by dropping clear water into wet paint.
