I am an artist in San Rafael. I have spent most of my life working in libraries and other places, but recently felt the need to burst out and create my visions. Color sings to me and particularly the way the watercolor pigment interacts with paper. Working with color and form is a joy which I also extend into other mediums such as acrylic, oil, sculpture, jewelry and textiles.  I have joined the Marin Arts Council and I am looking to taking my art to the next step, and seeing where it will take me.

I feel a deep connection to nature and the spirit of the world around us and I wish to share that vision with others. I have an odd sense of humor and a love for the absurd which can show up in my work. Creating the space to paint daily is keeping me feeling the world as a new exciting place to be and allows me to share that excitement with my friends and family.
