April Trice

Artist's Profile

From sock monkeys to thought provoking photography, my eclectic creations are a mirror of my quirky yet authentic self.

If I wake up feeling juvenile, then I make dolls and baby shoes. If sad, I make heart-wrenching collages. When bubbly, I paint cupcakes and super models. When I view art, I am blind to mediums and categories...and when I meet another artist and view their work, I look for the passion; not a fancy art degree.

My creativity doesn't shut off when I leave the studio. I carry it with me. My life is an ever-changing work of art, perfectly flawed and untidy. A life I humbly share with others.

An artist paints, dances, draws, writes, designs, or acts at the expanding edge of consciousness. We press into the unknown rather than the known. This makes life lovely and lively. Julia Cameron
