This is my painting inspired by the Tale "Hansel and Gretel." I've painted Gretel as she snacks on one of the many different Candy creations as she waits for Hansel outside. Hoping her brother soon returns. There are beautiful lighting effects, and a lot of detail in this 8 X 11 inch canvas. The Gingerbread house looks good enough to eat with all of it's frosting, peppermint, and chocolate candies. It's a cold Holday misty morning. There are also amazing lighting effects such as her eyes, hair. On the frosting, candies and lights. Play around with the painting, You'll see what I mean. This low resolution image doesn't show the amount color and beautiful detail. Everything looks much more vibrant and colorful. I hope you enjoy Gretel, and all of the little candy and lighting details. Thanks, Josh
