We all have a veneer we show to the world. Pretty, organized and totally in control. But along comes pain/passion and slowly that veneer cracks and crumbling beneath us. Our true colors emerge, transparent and honest. That is who we are, raw, broken flawed and exquisite. We pick up the pieces then go boldly, showing and tellingl without restraint. We will not be denied our vindication, nor forfeit our rightful place.The Cracked Veneer of Modern Antiquity is my entry to the pen and ink show. It is done in pen, and brush pens, in completely transparent layers, on a crackled prepped illustration board.
