This piece is how I feel about life on the farm those 2 magical weeks in summer,the early mornings, early evenings and up with the chickens! It is the longing for those paisley drapes of grandma that you thought were so ugly at the time. And the old fashion labels on canned goods that actually pictured on the label the contents of the can. It was a treasured experience for me filled with memories enough for a lifetime.
