Emerging Eagle is a piece that I did digitally in the year 20001 shortly after the towers fell. Prior to that I was doing cute little chickens and roosters.That day everything changed not only for nation but for me as an artist. A certain Fierceness came into play and personal innocence was lost. It was a dark and fearful time for me as I remember it, and my artwork certainly reflected that. I have since began to draw happy, joyful and humorous subjects, maybe as a defense. But in the years directly after 2001 though my paintings were dark and brooding there was always a hope, the light of some vctory and spirit that you could see on the rise. Emerging Eagle AlwaysRemember is a perfect example of my art during that time. And in the end hope and victory are the best in the highest we can achieve in both life and art.
