Beyond what we see in a casual glance is a whole other universe. Teaming with life, announcing it's joy. That is what I see when I watch the poppy. Just before it blooms, it looks as though it is positively in pain. As it pops, it's beauty pours forth layer by layer, then in thee center of all of it lies a promise, a preview of what is to come, and circle of life, and renewal.
