Prospectus: Mythology - every culture has its own. The figures and the themes are shaped by the environment of the people that created them and the values of their societies. They are unique and vivid expressions of the archetypal and the need of mankind to explain the world.
In this show, we are challenged to go beyond Bullfinch and explore the vast wealth found in the myths of humanity. Artists should include supporting text for the theme they've chosen to give the viewer a context for their art. |
