Prospectus:

Stuff. Everyone seems to have a great deal of stuff. And it’s stuff that we need to have access to at any given moment. The problem is; how do you carry all your stuff? Pockets? They may hold a few things like keys, a wallet and some change, but there is no way you can fit your phone, mp3 player, books, water bottle, snacks for the kids, diapers, portable GPS, checkbook, pens, kids toys, papers, notebooks, laptop and all the other miscellaneous bits and pieces we find we need through out the course of our days. Even stepping out for a night on the town requires something to put keys, a debit card, phone and perhaps breath mints or a lipstick.

This show is dedicated to handmade bags and purses. Totes, clutches, diaper bags and wristlets; it’s whatever you wish to create from backpacks to evening bags. Feel free to repurpose or create from scratch. Artist statements are required for this show. This statement must contain how you created your bag, the materials used and the dimensions of your entry. We encourage all entrants to include a little bit about why they created the bag they did. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to more fully appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment.

Entry Instructions:

• Upload your art or search your artcase for the piece you'd like to enter.

• Select "enter show" from the pull-down menu at the right hand side of this item (the default says "edit") and click the "go" button.

• Find the show you wish to enter and read over the prospectus to make sure your piece meets all of the requirements. If you feel you're good to go, click "enter."

• That's it; you're all done!
