Prospectus:

Do you wear clothes? Are you a member of EBSQ? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then “The EBSQ T-Shirt Show” is the show for you! EBSQ turns 8 this month and to celebrate, we are asking EBSQ members to design the next EBSQ t-shirt. It’s easy to do. Design an EBSQ t-shirt that includes "EBSQ" or "ebsqart.com" as part of your design. Enter it into the show. When the show closes, vote for your favorite design. The entry that wins Editors' Choice will become the official EBSQ t-shirt for 2008 as well win $150! The artists selected for Member's Choice, Member's Mention, Patron's Choice, and Patron’s Mention will have their designs offered in a limited edition of 50. All winning designs will be offered for sale in our EBSQ Spreadshirt shop. Each winner will receive a t-shirt featuring their winning design as well.

As always, an artist's statement is required with every entry. This statement should include information about your t-shirt design - the concept, how it represents EBSQ, etc. Your statement is an important element in presenting your work online and helps make your work more accessible for the viewer. Because some things may not be as apparent about your design when it’s viewed online, detail shots are encouraged. Entry Instructions:

The t-shirts will be produced by our printing partner, Spreadshirt, so here is what they say about image requirements.

Designs (e.g. photo) must

• be saved as .png, .jpg, .bmp, or .gif
• have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi
• maximum size of 3000 x 3000 pixels
• and a maximum file size of 3 mb

While we can only accept jpegs for upload on EBSQ, we ask that you retain your better quality original files (regardless of format) which we'll request in the event that your work is among the winners. In the event that your original file does not meet the above requirements, another winner will be selected.

And here's the oh-so-important legal clause:

When you enter the show you agree to give us the exclusive right to use your design in any commercial and promotional endeavors undertaken by EBSQ, including but not limited to production of t-shirts. Designs used by EBSQ will include your name and the web address of your EBSQ Profile. EBSQ agrees to include your name and a link back to your EBSQ profile on our shop page.

To add an entry to any show:

• Upload your art or search your artcase for the piece you'd like to enter.

• Select "enter show" from the pull-down menu at the right hand side of this item (the default says "edit") and click the "go" button.

• Find the show you wish to enter and read over the prospectus to make sure your piece meets all of the requirements. If you feel you're good to go, click "enter."

• That's it; you're all done!
