This month, in conjunction with Imagekind, EBSQ presents the show “Art Of The Equestrian”. This show will run on EBSQ for the month of October and will continue on Imagekind's site in November, where every entry in the show will be available for sale as a fine-art reproduction. “Art Of The Equestrian” focuses on equestrians, the many types of activities and sports in which they participate, and all of the trappings. All entries must have an equestrian related subject as the focus. Horses must relate directly to the equestrian related theme. Horses are wonderful and equestrians do ride them, but general horse art is not eligible for this show.

Art Of The Equestrian is open to all media, but be aware that your 2-d representation of whatever you create is required to be listed on Imagekind as part of this joint show, so excellent photography of your work is highly encouraged! An artist's statement is required with every entry. Tell us about your materials, process and something about why you chose to represent your subject in the manner or media that you did. Your statement is an important element in presenting your work online and helps make your work more accessible for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged. Eligible entries need to meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.

Entry Instructions:

This show has special requirements for participation! All eligible work must be listed on both EBSQ AND Imagekind. All work not appearing on Imagekind will be removed from the show before it goes to our juror for consideration. To help us find your work there, please include "ebsq" and "equestrian" in your tags on Imagekind.
