I usually use plein air painting and drawing to create notes on site and then "finish" the painting in my studio. This painting was done entirely on site in two hours while standing on a floating dock in a small, spring fed lake in DeFuniak Springs Florida (pictures of me painting to follow). I'm currently on a painting trip to do several such pieces and am entering this from my laptop computer in a hotel room in Georgia. This is obviously not a finished studio piece but the rought plain air nature is significant to its ambiance.
