This 10" X 14" watercolor was painted on Arches 140lb. cold press paper with Yarka watercolors. I originally thought of leaving one or two of the petals off one of the flowers to make the point more succinct, but in the end decided in favor of the composition rather than the theme. (Artist's prerogative, I guess.)
