Ophelia a figure of virtue... but was she really gone mad? Ophelia’s “mad songs” might have been the only way a woman in her time would have been able to entirety express her mind and to be free to feel whatever she wanted to feel. The moment I would like to capture (Act 4, Scene 7) is the moment right after Ophelia fell into the river and simple continues singing, and drowning. That moment is a extremely powerful moment when keeps singing , and drowning. At that very moment he waterlogged clothes would turn transparent; letting her body be revealed as her mind and soul in a last look into her eyes right before she is complete drowned.
