I call this one Atlas. Built of the earth he stands strong and as silent as the mountains.

This was one of my first attempts (I was going for a four elements theme). Wanting a "spirit" look to it this one had to be done with more or less a majority of layering.

The top most layer was a nude male pict. I needed this mostly for the pose and nothing else.

The second was an enlarged pict of stone rubble which I layered behind the nude male pict. Then there were tweaks to transparencies, gamma, color saturation etc.

After merging the two layers I added the background of a nexus as yet another layer. Once again there was tweaks to be made (especially in the opaqness of the stone man) to create a spirit look and feel.
