Firstly, the web could not capture the varied reds and orange colors in this piece. This is a carefully digitally altered photo of an orange slice. I have applied multiple techniques to achieve the effect of a moonlit forest. I was inspired by the evenings here in Vermont: romantic and serene, soft and mildly textured.
