I wanted to capture the colors that I see when I work with copper welding. I love the blacks and blues that magically appear with fire on the copper. Even the copper seems to turne a reddish hue. I took out the acryilics and created this piece. The canvas is strecthced on gallery wrapped 1 1/2 inches on each side. Which gives that wonderful feeling of three dimensions from a 2D surface.
