My rip off of Tracey Greene's "potted Siamese". I read Tracey's description of her painting and I wondered whether she found Dashiel in the pot or whether she just painted him there, so I thought I'd go with the idea that she found him in it. Being a cat owner myself, I am familiar with all the strange places cats love to hide/take over/ sleep and it seems to me that they always look at you like you're the one who is crazy when you find them in those strange places. I based this painting on that as well. I imagined Tracey finding Dashiel in the pot and his reaction being " WHAT?! I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING WEIRD!" I also know how much Tracey Loves her cats so I added a little heart on the pot for that. :D
