This photgraph is of Seattle Washington form the west side looking east. It was taken from a place call Alki or West Seattle across Elliot Bay.
I really enjoy stalking a storm at night. The excitement attached to the possibility of getting struck and trying to get the shot is immense.
This was taken with an RB
medium format camera and a 90mm Seiko Lens. It was taken at f/8 with a long 2 minute exposure to get the city light burned in and allow the reflection to come up in the water.
What is it we see when light is reflected back at us? Is it the water? Is it the light? Or, is it our own idea of something? A distorted view of reality? Or, is the reflection reality? Thank you for viewing this piece!
