This is a self portrait in stained glass, using the traditional lead came method. The piece is framed in zinc and painted with fired enamel paints. I'm not really sure why I did this. I wanted to put myself into a totally foreign, (to me), environment. Whether it stemmed from a wish to escape, a wish for more simplicity and abundance in my life, or simply whimsey, the final piece makes me smile.
