When things begin to get too "suburban" or a feeling of "stepford wives" creeps up on me, then I know things are too dull for my artist soul. It is time to spice things up a little with some surrealism! This piece was painted from the roof top of an apartment building in Los Angeles with a view of Griffith Observatory.
