My whole self is incognito. I have DID, or Disassociative Identity Disorder. DID is a condition that develops after severe child abuse occurs. To survive, the child learns to disassociate the abusing moment and go into a make believe person or situation to survive the ordeal. As the child grows, the personality seperates, leaving the child disconnected from their past.
