This piece was inspired by an article in Forbes that really conveyed the visciousness and horrificness of dog fighting. Reading it and seeing the photographs profoundly affected me.
I superimposed a warped grid onto a b & w photo, then recreated the images in some of the grid areas, but adjusted them to match the contours of the warped sections.
The distorted nature of this project really lent itself to portraying those feelings. It ain't no floral!
