In my love of working with polymer clay, I am always serching for new ideas and themes. Recently, I have discovered the "SteamPunk" genre and am really intrigued with the possibilities. I used to love to read H. G. Wells as a young girl and was facinated with all the created creatures in his works! This piece mixes my love of animals, fantasy creatures with the genre and creates a wearable piece of art. Just as we have robot animal toys today, I'm sure that they would have been very popular in the Victorian era of industrialization!
