My only illogical phobia is the fear of losing sanity itself. Senile dementia, Alzheimers, paranoia, any condition which could take away my most precious asset, my imagination. "+2-" represents the transition from a positive state of mind to that of a malcontent robbed of his perfect world. In many of my paintings, a figure in red has come to represent life and contentment, while blue is the colour of a lost life or soul. The heads are separated by a void of space and a lighted candle in the shape of the gesture that I use mentally toward people who I feel are threatening my world.
