I love to sculpt the human figure in polymer clay! The medium is so perfect for creating dramatically lifelike sculptures. I sculpt the figure over a heavy wire armature. Bake it. Then handpaint the facial features and blush some areas of the "skin". Then, I add hair and costuming and often a scene on a base for the sculpt to rest on. This one is a lovely bellydancer that is charming her onlookers!
