The Sunflower. The state flower of Kansas, which is my home state. Lucky for me. I adore sunflowers so vibrant and colorful. This image was taken in late summer. Even though her petals have wilted she is still beautiful and proud. She is aging "with grace". Photo shot with a Sony A-200 DSLR.
