A portrait of the Queen of Hearts (from Alice in Wonderland) I painted last year. I've been meaning to paint a lot of these characters from the books, but for some reason she was painted first...maybe for the sake of my head !!!? She was very fun to paint! Painted in acrylics on a big 16"x20" oval canvas. She looks even more maleficent in person!
