Obama in Thought is an oil portrait that I painted from campaign literature that I received waiting in line at Obama's last campaign stop in Raleigh NC. After missing his first visit, I was determined to stand in line from early in the morning. Seeing Obama a mere 50 feet away was a powerful moment.
