Media:  craft paper,tissue paper,mod podge,acrylics,wood stix
Dimensions:  8"x12"
Date of Work:  June 5, 2008

This was Fun, but it took alot of steps, I created it in my mind by walking around Michaels, where I usually get my crafts, it started with 4 wooden hockey sticks, two separtate sheets of construction paper, tacky glue, first I glued the sticks opposite each other and fanned them to hold the paper, which was cut to match the form then glued together, when dried, I started layering different pices of tissue paper with Mod Podge, overlaying and overlaying to get the right effects that I wanted, when it was dry, I then painted the stick ends and dotted the fan with mettalic pearl acrylics, The Moon side has to be my favorite, The other side was the main side, it has more layers, you can see the Aztec Sun with a very colorful Butterfly, and by the way, the Fan works very well, I will keep it downstairs in the Western Room, which is next to the country kitchen and where all the other Southwestern and Cowboy accents are. This would be a nice craft for the kids summer project, feel free to duplicate.
