I did this plein air and decided to do a small version. It measures 6"x8". I did not have much time and that is why I used a small canvas. I was in my back yard with my easel doing this painting. I did use my artistic license and add the foreground my way. I loved the way the clouds were so massive and that is what I was trying to show in my canvas.
